Gold cost to Respec points is HEINOUSLY overpriced
I'm level 27 and it costs almost 600 gold per point? I just needed to chance some Strength into Into and it cost me 1/3 my entire gold just for like 4 points holy shit.
It should literally be ONE TENTH of the current price. You also should multiply gold drops by like 3-5 times. This is ridiculous. Ruthless is not fun. ~ Seph Last edited by sephrinx#7591 on Dec 7, 2024, 10:43:28 AM Last bumped on Dec 12, 2024, 3:54:12 PM

They're intentionally making the game difficult in areas like that for some reason. It's just plain stupid.
The costs seem fine, but the amount of gold (and crafting loot) that drops is not. Needs to be balanced. Last edited by Gulch#5697 on Dec 7, 2024, 10:49:23 AM

Wait really?
I haven't tried yet I got the impression it would be easy to respec in PoE 2 |

Confirmed -- too expensive. My friends are going broke and then not be able to respec again.

" The removal of regret orbs didn't help, now instead of spending your gold on possible gear upgrades (which you REALLY need), it's saving it for some respecs. It's very weird to me, if I heared Jonathan speak it was like it would be raining gold, it's not. |

What are you guys spending your money on?
Are you rerolling every 5 minutes? Im lvl 33 and I always have >20.000 gold |

I would like it if they opted for a similar system to Diablo 4 where it's free up until a certain point, it really gives you the freedom to try different things whilst levelling.

" I'm also in a similar level but I am DEFINITELY nowhere near that amount of gold. I have to buy socket gear for artificer's shards, and each piece of gear costs 500-1000. Then you have to buy rares for regal shards because I've dropped less than 20 rares over 2 acts, a rare is 5k gold. Considering your main weapon needs constant upgrades every 10 ilvls this adds up fast. I'm still using ilvl 9 jade amulet because I need the extra dex for level 9 gems, and an ilvl 12 boots because they're the only ones with movespeed. It's not like its raining gold too, a full inventory of magic items gets you like 3-4k gold, and that's half a zone's worth (basically 10-15 mins of walking). Trying to gamba for rares is also a gold sink, its 2.5k on crossbows and 1.5k on armour and I've gotten 2 rares out of 20 tries. What are YOU spending it on? " Lv 37 Ranger here... Just spent 100k on gambling jewelry yesterday lol. I think the pricing to respec is fine tho. Unless you're respecing every 5 mins as Tyrion said - which you really shouldn't. Still gold income could be a bit improved. " My gear is ilvl wise sub par as well, but I'm doing pretty good so far. Been crafting a weapon or armor here and there (from white to rare), which seemed to be enough for my needs. Didn't buy much from shops aside from the gamba spree I mentioned. I guess another way to get better gear for cheap is to look for a guild or try trading with other ppl. |

I agree, gold respec is great, but it should be easier in the early levels. Once you're in the Atlas it's whatever, but in Normal acts it should be easy. You need your gold for equipment early on.
