Game breaking bug game will not load after choosing character

Hi
I am playing on Xbox series x
I have had numerous crashes to dashboard and now when I attempt to restart the game it allows me to pick my character, however when I have selected it the game attempts to load for a couple of seconds and then completely freezes and the gears at the bottom of the screen that signify loading are both frozen and not moving, I can still however hear audio music but nothing else is happening and my game is seemingly bricked.please investigate and rectify. Kindest regards

Same exact problem on series s, was playing fine and game froze with audio continuing, closed and re opened the game and it just completely stops.
