Ice Shot 'Cannot Cause Freeze Buildup' Hidden Modifier

Not sure if this has been reported yet, but Ice Shot (bow skill) has a hidden modifier that causes the attack to not have any freeze buildup (viewed in skill description). Tried removing gem links, still there.
99% sure it does not come from other sources as none of my other attacks has that.

Not sure if it's supposed to be there & just missing from gem description or it's really a bug. Kinda ruining my character, sad.

Came here to say just this. Also, if this isn't a bug it really should be stated directly on the mouse-over tooltip at the very least.

Probably not a bug but a missing display line on the tooltip, the POE2db entry for the skill has the "cannot cause freeze" line

guess that's why herald of ice isn't listed as useful spirit skill for ranger

I believe its a leftover from when Ice Shot had a freeze consumption modifier, which I guess was changed right before launch?

Bit annoying, honestly. Nerfed before I even laid hands on it

Ice shot feels underwhelming to me, I think they should let it build freeze. My fantasy of playing a Frost Archer has kinda been killed Q_Q

for real.. this is so dumb, they keep nerfing skills but they refuse to fix the broken and under performing ones? come one...
