Wow, thanks for all the input. This gave me some ideas. Does concentrated effect gem increase the amount of armour as well?

"x% more Area Damage

I just mainly use it to 1 hit KO melee bosses. It's funny.

I'd be happy forever if they removed the 10s duration on it. I use it on my tank build, and at least for melee characters, wich imo are the ones who benefit most of it, the duration is moot since it has a set damage threshold anyway.

That`s why i always run "increased duration" linked to MS, i now that it`s not the best setup, but having those 7-8 seconds more just feels that good.
MS+CE+(IW)+FP+chance to ignite (sometimes), loving it....the sound when it goes off is so damn satisfying. |

Motlten shell is amazing. It has the highest elemental base damage of any ability in the game. This is why the spell has such huge DPS on the tooltip, even if you don't try to link a ton of things to this gem. Plus, the defensive steroid is actually very good, especially combined with inner force. The main problem is that you generally don't want to be taking a ton of physical damage, so you might not get the damage of molten shell to trigger. However, if you link this gem with life leech you can often just recover most of the damage you take because of the huge base damage this ability deals. This makes the gem much, much better.

Any way to make MS your main skill though xD?
And if you close your eyes, does it feel like your exalt almost hit this time~
