Grainy visuals in PoE 2
First of all, let me thank you GGG for the absolutely phenomenal game so far! <3
I have one thing that I would like to check: While the visuals are generally absolutely stunning, I'm experiencing grainy visuals. E.g. the grass in the hunting grounds or the coloured outline of mobs/players/corpses (playing a witch). It's almost like the textures are too high-res for 1080p. Is there something I can do to improve this? **Hardware** 1080p monitor Nvidia 1080 GPU **Settings** 1920x1080 No Upscale 15% sharpness (default) Medium Texture Quality 8x Anisotropic Filtering Disabled Triple-Buffering others are at default Last bumped on Jan 15, 2025, 7:38:20 AM

Yep, I also noticed this grass texture issue. I am on a GTX 1650 SUPER

I get the same issue and i am also on a 1650 super.
It's extremely grainy. I'm also locked to medum texture quality. Even though my GPU is garbage i'd like to have the freedom to toggle my settings as i see fit. Any solution? |

Try FSR on Quality thats how i fix it. Also remember to disable Dynamic Resolution.

Go into display settings and change upscale mode to dlss or turn it off from the default.
Changing to DLSS fixed the issue for me looks much clearer |

Okay, so after playing quite a bit. It's mostly this area (the grassy one) where the sharpening is just too much.
I've tried to enable FSR, but FSR (also DLSS) makes just everything too blurry (temporal filtering I think), so I'm still just finding what is best. |
