Trying to craft gem level 1 of brutality

Everyone I know is having this issue suddenly.
Can't apply a support gem. "The operation could not be completed" |

Have the same problem on PC. I managed to solve it by creating in on PS5 on the same character.

This happend to me too and it was the case of not haveing enough of streangth to support two red gems - try taking out other gems from skill first. It is not well communicated by the game.
