Unable to Reserve Cast on Shock

I am unable to activate Cast on Shock, despite having 98 total spirit. I right click to activate and it greys out and says disabled not enough spirit. I have no other spirit skills activated. Have tried relogging and zone changing, taking the skill on and off, and putting it into stash and out.

I'm having the same problem, did you managed to solve it?

+1 with cast on freeze
It has something to do with the weapon swap/ skill tree, it works for me only when I use my first weapon slot regardless of weapon. Will look into it.

Edit: I changed the spell to comet and it started to work on the second weapon slot. I am out of ideas. Truly the bug of all time

Also does not work with Cost on Freeze for me as well.

I managed to "work around it" by moving weapon/off-hand to the second weapon lot, it works there. But it won't work on the primary weapon swap no matter what.

Same issue, when at 60/60 cant trigger Cast on Shock. No support gems in it. Messing with weapons and slots did not do anything for me. None of the verbiage of the gem indicates it would have higher than 60 cost. Seems like a bug to me.

Also once I try to activate it, it fails to work and spirit stays at 60/60. But I can't activate my other spirit reserves, (Arctic Armour and Mana Remnants) because of the fail to activate Cast on Shock. Only after I remove Cast on Shock from the gem page can I then go right-click the other gems.

Looks like you need to set the trigger and the triggered ability to use the same weapon set, otherwise it breaks.

Same if I use sceptre to make it 160 I can use it and level 1 spells I can use at 60 but arc is a lvl 5 spell base

Cast on Shock requires at least one Skill Gem to be inserted into its Sockets, or it won't work. It's the message "Not enough Spirit" that is actually misleading here.

I was able to activate the spell with 60 Spirit after inserting a skill gem and right-clicking as normal.
