Shift key can not be mapped to dodge roll due to Close All Interface conflict
I wanted to make Shift key a Dodge Roll key to match my muscle memory from other RPGs (where Space is usually jump). This is however not possible, because game mandates Dodge Roll key to share same key with Close All Interface.
When Dodge Roll key and Close All Interface key are both mapped to Shift, the hold Shift to compare functionality in inventory stops working because Shift closes the inventory. Steps to reproduce: 1. Go to Options->Input 2. Map Dodge Roll key to Shift 3. The UI will complain Close All Interface key is not assigned 4. Map the Close All Interface to Shift key Result: Shift cannot be used in inventory as it closes the inventory Expected: Close All Inventory key does not have to be same as Dodge Roll key On a sidenote, what is the purpose of Close All Inventory to have a dedicated key when Escape key does exactly that?
