Act 1 Boss Solo as a Warrior

Question what kind of gear was this tested using? And what skills, cause I'm using basic warrior skills fully supported with some cold res. (been full clearing zones up to the boss so overlevelled by 2 levels). I am using mouse control but me getting hit is not the problem, usually die with wolf form at 75% because of the add phase (after-death frost explosions, with the boss lunging directly at you). Like was this tested with all rares equipped? Because most of the gear I've found was unusable for warrior and the very few rare items that dropped were from the zone mini-bosses. Also note I'm not using a shield playing 2H, so any "block it" responses are not going to help. These fights should be doable with and without blocking and as either melee or ranged. (Act 1 boss btw) I did use molten blast for a few attempts and it was significantly easier but still the add phase is so restrictive that if you don't have instant add killing damage you likely won't beat the fight, or you get body blocked by the adds and can't dodge the lunge. Didn't expect an act 1 boss to require us to farm gear, esp when I've been full clearing each zone exploring.

Been fighting him for an hour with a friend, can't do it.

me and wife couldnt do it either, I feel like ive got to get very specific to win the fight, maybe thats the intention

Man you did well to get to the boss as warrior. I couldn't get past grelwood forest as warrior.

We beat it by out leveling and out gearing it and still took 4 more tries.

kite the boss around trees trust me they have no reset radius you can kite and line of sight them

I honestly cannot imgaine how to beat act 1 boss with melee. I am on an Arc Sorceress, it took me like 5 tries to beat it but I just feel like the fight is way toooooooo long and punishing for getting hit even once.

Hey Warrior player here.
I beat him at my 2nd try.
Mace and shield.

It's a fairly easy boss using the shield, he does the same thing over and over again.
So half way through the boss showed all his melee skills already. In his second phase and towards the end it gets tricky because of his increase in damage output.
But everything is so well telegraphed I only had to use 2 potions in my rematch.

Idk, it's so strange, I see so many people complaining about melee and bossing yet I'm completely blasting through the game and have an awesome experience.

Idk what to think of that.
So far the warrior has been an absolute beast.

I didn't make it to the boss, the white mobs were killing me as warrior lol.

What skills did you use? Something with freeze or stun or pin would help my warrior a lot. My frost nova sorc has done a lot better.
