Ominous Altars Quest - Quest Target/Trigger Event Despawn

Potential bug in Freythorn quest:

I ran into an issue when trying to reach one of the altars in Freythorn. I killed the mobs but the black mist surrounding the altar did not clear and the quest softlocked. I am trying to see if letting the map reset will fix it in the meantime.

Let me add to that
When you trigger the altar quest AFTER having visited Freythorn, there seems to be a dialogue hiccup.
Spoiler
You clear the alter and can then summmon Finn.
He explains that he used to live in Freythorn and asks you to check is out. Immediately thereafter you trigger a 2nd conversation, where you apparently inform him that you visited Freythorn. Then, Finn asks you to check out Freythorn. |

Wanted to add I've also run into this same bug regarding the third ritual altar. So, it seems it has potential to be reproduced for testing purposes. Hopefully it's fixed soon.

Tried leaving game and coming back after activating the checkpoint near the third ritual altar. All it did was cause the enemies to respawn. After clearing them out, nothing changed. Quest is still bugged.

I have the same problem. Even after clearing all the mobs at the 3rd altar the black mist doesn't vanish. Tried reseting the lvl and reran it. Still the same issue with the 3rd altar. |
