POE 2 crashing/pc freeze

When loading or changing instances (sometimes while launching the game as well) the game will freeze up my entire PC. If I let it sit, eventually it kicks me back to the menu and unfreezes up the PC. However, on multiple occasions it took so long I had to manually restart my PC. No issues with any other game and everything is up to date.

This is also ocurring to me.
Been browsing forum and reddit to see if anyone else has it. RTX 4070 Super with newest nvidia drivers and a R5 5600 |

I have the same issue, always on loading screen
GPU/CPU load spikes to 100%, then the PC just freezes Windows 11 24H2 NVIDIA 2070 Ryzen 7 5800X Settings: Everything set to lowest |

same exact thing with me, got a 4090 and runs perfect when im fighting mobs but the second i try and load a new zone it crashes

Have a look here and give it a try if you are on Windows 24H2 (especially if you use an AMD CPU).

I went into the properties for the exe file in Win11 and set it to run in compatibility mode for Win8 and to let it run as Admin.
Seems to have worked, so far. Before that I had complete PC freezes when traversing to the camp after the first area, several times on different characters, having tried all the various graphics options. 9800x3d Win11 24H2 64Gb DDR5 Last edited by Saruya#4721 on Dec 7, 2024, 11:53:11 AM

PC/game keeps still crashing Recommendation to stop playing until fix, or play without multithread under 30fps. Otherwise u will damange your system permanently |
