Progress breaking bug

I was working on the secrets in the dark quest and collected the first two runes of power successfully. I clicked on the third tower and summoned the rust king and while I did kill him his last attack still went off after he died which killed me. I saw the rune and loot drop to the ground and respawned and all of the dropped loot and the rune was gone.

I logged out of the game for 30 minutes went back into the red vale and while all of the mobs have respawned, I am unable to click on any of the three pillars to resummon the rust lord and can not progress the quest any further on this character.

Characters name is Wickedkarma and is on US servers

I also have this same bug - exact same thing happened to me. Character name Farlithe on US servers.

As a workaround you can CTRL + Click the Red Vale on the map, and create a new instance. You can the redo the towers to pickup the quest items.
