Even though I posted here earlier and never received my emails to link Epic Games to my GGG account, apparently now you can download the client directly from the POE website and play it properly the same as POE.

Downloading that right now, and will see if this allows me to simply login with my POE credentials and totally bypass the stupid Steam or Epic linking fiasco.

This doesn't help anyone who doesn't have their keys or is blocked account or any other issues, but perhaps it is enough to get past the linking accounts dilemma.

I mean nobody wants this security feature, this is not a bank account, just let people play from whatever IP they want.
If somehow someone gets to log in on other people's account, what is the thief going to do? level up your characters? It's a game and an early access version, just get rid of this unlock email feature.
