Zone transition hard locking computer

Disable Multithreading in PoE.

I have the same issue with Poe 1 & 2. 5800x and 2080 Super. Win 11 24H2

Things that have reduced the frequency of the crashes.
Disable "Game Mode"
Set core affinity to ont include 3 threads. (this will allow you to use Task Manager to kill the process rather than a reboot)
Don't have any videos playing at the same time.

im having crashs as well i have a 9800x3d + 2080. i thought maybe it was graphics setting or something so i lowered them (even though i was getting 60fps at 4k).

that seemed to help but then i just crash.

also on latest windows 11 version if that helps.

bumping this one as well as others. I too am having this issue, it has gotten better though so I guess GGG is working on it? I tried messing with the affinity in task manager, downloaded a program that limits other programs, lower settings, changing how the game is rendered. Still happened, so I just now play with everything maxed for my rig, and deal with it. It is frustrating, and hopefully no permanent damage is happening to my PC, idk, I got bad brains, not sure if that's a thing or not. It only happens as I load into a different area, portaling to town is ok, and so far using the waypoint is not crashing my Pc. I did notice at times when the game seems trying to crash, I'll see "game is paused" and it eventually loads. I didn't see that before so that's why I assumed they were working on it.

Bump all the crash posts, they've removed the issue from high priority even though loads of us are now experiencing worse crashing than before their patch

RRRREEEEEEEEE just happened again on the stupid Jamanra boss fight, he was so close!! aaaaaaaaaaaahhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh WHY WHY GGG, WHY U DO THIS?!?!?! AAAAAAAAAAAAHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH
Lol I'm just playing, pretty pissed off though, wish it would get fixed.
