Standalone Client Won't Patch

When opening the PoE2 client, I get an error message that says 'Disconnected from patching server before patching completed. Try again'. I was able to open the client earlier to look at my settings but now it's stuck on that error.

I'm assuming there is a required patch that needs to be applied before the client will open, but it's unable to fetch the patch. Is this something that anyone else is seeing or that GGG is aware of?

I have the same problem. No ideas though. I might try just reinstalling the installer...

Mine downloaded overnight 16 hours and did that this morning. I don't think I get to play today because there seems to be no fixing it. Trying the steam pre-load option now but its 11hrs to download.

I'm having this same problem. Downloaded & installed the stand-alone version twice. The second time I managed to get to the log-in screen and set keybinds etc. Closed the game and now the launcher just says:

"Connection failure.
Disconnected from patching server before patching completed. Try again."

Clicking OK just closes the launcher.
