No Steam Client Key Available

"
I was eligible for POE 2. I still bought a poe2 support pack. I talked about the EA to all my friends. They all manage to get a key, while I need "to check back soon".

I am really not happy about it.

you didnt claim it in time, theyve run out and will add more asap, stop with that cringy tantrum
I shall patiently wait for the steam keys to be available too....i dont want to play it on Epic. All the best fellow Exiles!
Patiently waiting.
First time poe player so very excited :)
I could use some clarity here. Even if I purchased the early access supporter pack through Steam, preloaded, but did not claim a steam key under the Managed Account/Early access means I have to play on Epic? I just linked my accounts today, but the way this displaying on the POE early access page seems odd.
So uhh… I accidentally clicked on the Epic key because the Steam one wasn’t available… but I don’t use Epic. Will the Steam one show up eventually, or did I screw myself?

To me it's unclear. I mean we will find out in just over an hour, but the FAQ says the following

How to redeem a key?
Upon purchasing your first supporter pack that includes an Early Access key, that key will be automatically redeemed on the account the purchase was made. You don’t have to do anything else, just download the game client when it’s available and login on launch day!

If you're unsure about your status, or want to view any of your keys, this information is available under my-account/early-access.

If you have purchased a key and/or have access granted for one PC game client (Stand-alone, Steam, or Epic), but wish to play on another game client, you will be able to do so by claiming a key to unlock access to that client. These are available at my-account/early-access and can be redeemed on the relevant platform's store. Please note these keys only unlock the client in your library, they do not on their own provide early access to your account.

As an example, if you purchase a Supporter Pack through the Path of Exile website, you will be able to claim a key to unlock the client in your Steam Library.

It does not really say if you accidently click on the Epic if it overrides purchasing on Steam at that point or if it overrides once you claim the code under your Epic account.

EDIT: Just found the answer. I refreshed the Early-Access page and the steam key was available. I was able to re-deem that code in Steam just now.

steam key now available
Just randomly checked and STEAM KEY! Activated, and hopefully others get theirs now too :)
Mmm yeah i didn't claim mine in time either. Because why would I think the keys can run out? That's the dumbest thing I've ever heard. I viewed that it was available, and figured I'd claim it on the day and download.

Why would anyone ever think you can be granted access but not be given a key? Makes no sense. And I was granted access for supporting poe. Yet no keys are left? So... I'm not actually granted access.

Makes perfect sense.
