well, if you know what are you doing, you can edit PE Executable import (with hex editor, or PE Tools) and change GetOverlappedResultEx import to GetOverlappedResult.
That will do the job. |

" It will, but if you try to log into online to actually play, you'll get a message that your game is outdated and you'll be disconnected - at least on Steam version. So no, you as the end user cannot fix this. If the developers decide to support outdated systems, in theory the fix could be as simple as catching the exception being thrown on w7 and then calling the GetOverlappedResult function. |
