No reason for you to be server banned. Try again in a few hours or just wait for a patch, but other than that there isn't anything you can do about it. Maybe restart your computer? Might work. |

I think i find out the solution of the " ERROR ". Somehow, after install the download client, windows set the folder of PoE2 to READ ONLY. Just right click your mouse and choose Property, then un-tick the READ ONLY, then press APPLY. And the download is smooth now !

Same error here. Gave up after i tried redownloading 10 times and it instantly errors out and nothing downloads. I started the Steam download. Ill just download the standalone in a few days.

after many retries and waited for some time, it fianlly finished downlaod.
I think the reason is CDN server, it was not ready. When it's ready, it's not necessary to do anything on your side. |

I had the same problem, tried one poster's trick of changing the folder properties - removing the "Read Only" tag. Downloaded and installed successfully.
