Cross-Progression?

So I am aware that to have access to PoE 2 EA on PC and PS5 it requires two separate purchases, but will progression be synced and stash tabs I have purchased?

So if a person has a PC account and a PS5 account that are under different names, they have to pick one of them, and buy a key on the path of exile site, as well as the playstation store, for that specific account correct??

as i understand it yes that is correct. all platforms require their own key, and only xbox and PC have MTX that is shared
