Activated the steam key on another account.

I bought the game through the website. I received a steam key and accidentally activated it in another steam account. I logged into the website via steam, and activated the key in another steam account. What should I do and will it affect anything?

Hi there,
By default you will be able to play the Standalone client for Path of Exile 2. If you have accidentally claimed a Client Key on the wrong Steam account, I'm afraid you will either need to activate another client key on the correct Steam account, or you will have to un-link your current Steam account by emailing our Support Team at support@grindinggear.com, and re-link the correct Steam account.
