Steam account gone, now what?

Asking here since GGG suppord went silent since Saturday.

I had (well, stil have but wanting to close) a Steam account where i've started playing PoE, bought stuff from there and so when i log in here is through Steam.

Question is: if i delete Steam while having an emai here, will this account created through Steam will continue to exist? Will i be able to play and retain my purchase made from Steam here?

Kinda urgent since if not i'll delete both Steam and this one to make a new account from PoE and buy PoE2.

in your account settings you can link an e-mail adress. i guess you can also download PoE1 standalone and check if you can login there.

but i cant link my mail adress atm, seems weird, because i prob would like to play PoE2 on standalone.

I already did link my mail to this account from here, was wondering if deleting Steam would let me still use this account or since i sign up through steam i would not be able to play from this regardless of linking mail. Will see what support has to say.

every time you reply/bump that email your putting yourself farther and farther back in the queue
