PoE2 and Guilds losing all invested microtransactions

Tldr; nothing is being transferred because the guilds don't exist in PoE2 BUT they are open to make some sort of merge happen.

I personally sit in a two person guild with my partner, and we've almost bought all available Stash Tabs for a Guild. Honestly, I don't even care about losing those or having to repurchase them, but that all donated Microtransactions would also be gone sucks so much. I gave my Space Turtle Hideout to our Guild so we could both enjoy it, we have donated other Hideouts to our Guild beforehand too, that's just the most recent one. Due to you literally giving up Access to the MTX by donating it to a Guild, the move to PoE2 will take those away completely.

Please make some sort of Guild Merge happen, or allow a Guildleader to recreate their old guild with all MTX included in PoE2. If this is a struggle in the backend, I don't even care If they put some sort of "Guild Transfer" MTX into the shop to purchase for points.

Don't make us lose what we've invested years into.

The minimum, bare minimum, they could do is any player that owns a guild gets upon new guild creation a minimum number of (extra) tabs

I don't understand the entitlement everyone seems to have about any of the MTX transfers.


- POE 1 and POE 2 are different games.
- You purchased items for POE 1.
- You aren't losing anything, all purchases still exist, in POE 1.
- The fact that anything transfers is a generous gift from GGG

We had a thriving guild - dozen on at at time every day. I donated 5000+ credits to it - we bought loads of tabs but there was nothing else to spend the points on yet back then. There were loads of plans for guild hideouts and other things so it was a sure thing. right? right?

After a few years, everyone was gone. EVERYONE MOVED to SSF and/or quit HC. We all realized that group play was a determent. (less loot/more organization needed/more dangerous in HC etc. )

no point at all being in a guild in POE. They could remove guilds all together and I would not complain.

No, we purchased items for PoE1 and 2, because many purchased guild MTX after the 2019 announcement, which said PoE2 would simply be a huge expansion.

Even after the 2023 announcement that PoE2 would be separate, Jonathan stated on reddit that guilds would merge over to PoE2. So myself and many others continued purchasing guild tabs.

Though, some things cannot be replaced even with money. Some of us bought things such as the Voidborn Supporter Pack($480) specifically to use the Atlas Hideout in our guild. It is the perfect hideout for a guild because it is huge and has the Toggle View option. You can only gift supporter pack hideout decorations one time to a guild you're the leader of. This means these are forever stuck in PoE1, and you can no longer buy those supporter packs.

Those microtransactions can also not be returned to the person who gifted it, I recently tried to return various gifts given to me and guild purchases but this is not an option once they are on your account they stay there forever.

It broke my heart a little bit tbh.
