Infinite Party Glitch

Hey everyone, I hope you are all exited for POE2.
I've been encoutering a bug were I am stuck in a party with someone I bought an item from. Any time i leave the Karui Shores in the epilogue this party gets "dispanded". Every time I come back he is back in the "party". The problem is that if I run a map and die, i instantly go back to his party and lose my instance. Can any dev help me out? Had a similar issue awhile back, and the only fix I could find was to have anyone else invite me to a party (or go offline for awhile, but I didn't want to do that every time). It force ends the former party, and then I can leave the new party and it should update all the instances with the new info that you are not in a party.
