Price increase in Mexico, you doubled the price

There's a reason regional pricing is on by default and most developers use it - it is not easy to bypass. There are big time restraints for changing your region, using a VPN is bannable, and you need a payment method from within that country. It's not widely abused like people are saying.

It actually is. Keys bought with regional pricing are being resold on sites like g2a. You can even get whole steam accounts that way with desired game. It has been bypassed long time ago.

you can just sell the account, not the key, and it will get banned if its used in other country or make purchases in other country, vpn is not enough
VPN hopping has been fixed a forever ago. You can display regional prices via VPN, but at the checkout it reverts to your own price again, because you are paying under credentials not tied to that region.

But the frauds would still get the money. Also not true at all. I have bought God of War that way and i still can play it. I dont even have to use VPN.Once the game is added you need to be unlucky to get banned.
Wait so most of the players are destined to pay 30 bucks for a key, yet someone is raging because they can't buy it for 10-20 bucks?

Wrong. Some people pay $30 because the average salary in their country is $5000-$7000 per month, while others were going to pay a price more relative to their $250-$500 salaries until GGG canceled the option on Steam. It is still available for Russians and Brazilians here on their website, fyi.

Show me a country with an avg. salary of 5-7k per month and im moving there
Excluding Sweden Norway and countries that have 50% taxes or more on literally everything

Sometimes an example of a salary of 800-1k has more buying power that an example of a salary 3-5k, but i hope you understand that

The United States. Use google, it helps.

A $30 purchase for someone making $300 a month is eating into their groceries. Is that the case for someone making $6000?

"Sometimes an example of a salary of 800-1k has more buying power" This makes no sense whatsoever.
i just dont know so i wont defend any sides but....if GGG didnt do anything and its on STEAM side , why does ggg not make a statement ? this is not the only thread about this , and i have not seen a word from GGG about it.
