Steam key access or not
i was not expecting loggin in to see a pm about a key
so got more confused by this part "Please note this key only unlocks the client in your library, it will not provide early access to your account and should not be given away." so what is that key if not early access? Last bumped on Nov 28, 2024, 7:25:35 PM

From what I understand there is an early access key you can obtain from one of the following scenarios:
- Lifetime total purchases of $480+ with PoE1 - Friend gifting you a key - Buying a supporter pack This key mentioned above is redeemed on the PoE website to grant your PathOfExile account early access. With that, it is enough to play the game on December 6th on PC using the PoE client which can be found at https://www.pathofexile.com/download (client not available yet). Otherwise, if you wish to play on Steam / Epic Games follow the instructions provided by the staff member reply. To sum it up if you see "Please note this key only unlocks the client in your library, it will not provide early access to your account and should not be given away." it means your PoE account has early access already. The key listed on https://www.pathofexile.com/my-account/early-access is for Steam only (as Epic Games is not available for redemption). Hope this post helps. |

Hey, check my-account/early-access to see if you have access to poe2. Im assuming ur on PC. If you have access then you can play poe2 PC, meaning stand alone and on steam. What you were given is a steam key that only adds poe2 to ur steam library if you do play on steam, it doesn't give access by itself. You will be able to download the standalone client if you have access when its available and play on that without steam.
