I feel like my account is not my account... (linking other accounts or changing user name?)

when i log in via steam it takes me to this account which my twitch is also linked to, but this username is the one my roommate uses for all his stuff, i didnt notice before but now im trying to buy path of exile 2 and dont wanna use the wrong account, there is also the fact that there is no email linked. im just confused how i ended up with my friends username and if there is a way to change it because as a streamer i try to keep things all uniform, the emails for verification are also just not coming through, can someone please help?
