How will it work with couch co-op? Both accounts need early access?

If I want to play couch co-op with a friend, that have thair own account but not paid for early access.
How will this work?

Do we have any information on this? They have said you can play on 2 accounts at the same time as co-op, but cant remember any info of how it is in early access.

Is couch co-op available in Early Access?
Yes, you can play Path of Exile 2 in couch co-op mode on a single account right from the start. The second player will be able to create a character on that account.

Yes, you can play Path of Exile 2 in couch co-op mode on a single account right from the start. The second player will be able to create a character on that account.

That does not give a awnser to my question. This only say you can create on same account. But then they cant play on that character if they decide to buy accsess and start playing.

This means 2 people can play on one account. If the friend thinks they are gonna transfer the character off your account, no this is not how it works. You can couch co-op and share 1 account, or your friend can dish out $30 to create their own toons on their account.
