Best/easiest class.

I'm downloading the game right now 38%. this game's skill tree is so complex that i know i wont understand. So what is the best/easiest class for a complete noob like me.

DefaultPams RoA marauder is quite simple

Class is mostly irrelevant, it only determines where you start on the tree.
I suggest looking through the list of skills, and then picking one you want to build your character around. From there, you can determine what passives you want to get. Then just pick the class that has the easiest access to the nodes you need.

Use groundslam.

This build is only good if you have the gear. (which is really expensive.) Trust me I'm playing it right now @ level 71.

Any mara build with some elemental damage is the easiest. Mara is the only class that get tons of free hp just by going through the passive tree as is. Elemental damage is also the easiest damage to stack. Combine them both and you can face roll from lvl 1 to the end of game. Only downside is you still need to gear yourself up for maps (end game).

I also recommend a witch summoner for new players, however it is for end game only. Unlike mara the witch summoner will fail hard throughout the game until you are close to the end. But once you reach the end its easy to progress because unlike other class your damage is not gear dependent. So you won't hit a dead wall like some builds because you lack funds for gear.

I really would not recommend freezing pulse build of any kind to a new player. Freezing pulse is very strong but also very dependent on your gear. A 0 quality freezing pulse with average 4 link gear does not do well at all.

My top 3 easiest build for new players are:

Mara Elemental Cleave build (tanky variant)
Mara Exploding Arrow build
Witch summoner build (end game only)

Easiest build for me i think is a Lightning Arrow character (Duelist has more HP, while Marauder has better dmg mitigation).

You should just try a style you enjoy, because in a month time, you would have rerolled several times to find a style/build that suits you.

This is why POE is fun.
