How many dungeons are there in PoE

Does this game have as much dungeons as in D3?

To answer your second question, no the game is in closed beta so the number of dungeons of course cannot match D3, which has 4 acts and more dungeons.

I suspect PoE will come much closer to matching D3's dungeon count come Act 3 (in August). The big and obvious advantage that PoE has over D3 is continued, committed development. Whereas D3 will probably have one expansion with an additional Act, PoE will see new acts every 6-9 months according to GGG. According to Chris, it's very possible that the game might see "7 or 8 acts" (or more) in the future. There is new content of many different kinds planned for the next few years.

I love the dungeons in PoE, they are somewhat reminiscent of Diablo 1 (in terms of ambiance).

Outdoors are great too in that you have forests that look like forests, on the downside, you don't find much buildings in the outdoor as was the case in Diablo II. No lone temple, nothing comparable to Kurast, say.
