Witch Dual Swords and Magic
Hey guys
Now i know im probably not the most popular person after my gender post :P but reading some of the reply's peaked my curiousity i noticed one specific comment saying "you can really turn any class into anything" So i was wondering. is a witch with dual swords a possability and effective, like a sort of lifestealing dual sword build like i used to use in titan quest |

how exactly would you go about building that. like which skill tree's/main skills would you pickup at early levels

Nankura I have made a character using almost every skill in the game.
Every single one of those characters was a witch. I have literally never used any other class. This game is radical like that. |

ok but the question mainly is, which skill tree's would i head down from level 1 when i first start the game to achieve this build that im after

Depends what kind of melee weapon you would want to use.
Daggers and Claws would be towards the Shadow's side and a bit on Duelist's side. Mace is maybe a bit to Templar's side, Swords and Axes towards Duelist's side and a bit of Marauder's side too. Frankly you can already find out all of this if you look at the website passive skill tree planner. Sweeping Maid

Okies, the best way to do this is just to play the game a bit to get a feeling for the skill tree. Trying to design a specific character first time in is normally frustrating - just experiment and play around with the game systems a bit and things will be a lot more fun!
If you are going dual swords though you would probably want to head down into duelist through the central hub, picking up strength and dex nodes where possible. Int would be very secondary. Last edited by TinyAngryCrab#2600 on Jun 18, 2012, 11:09:59 AM

I wouldn't go to the duelist area for that. That would be a total waste.
I would use some of the dual wielding nodes in the witch area, and get some more damage from critical chance/multiplier nodes. Then get tons of defense because you need it for melee. Witch usually gets more mana than other classes so you'll need probably less mana flasks and you'll be able to use more costly skills. Finally, I think elemental hit is almost mandatory for such a build because you won't be able to deal much physical damage anyway. If you were going elemental damage then you'd just do the absolutely standard catalyze nonsense. I'm assuming he wants physical damage.
