The issue isnt the the quality of the item but rather the quality of the item relative to the cost. A better analogy is someone trying to sell a mustang for the price tag of a bugatti veyron.

It seems he was actually serious about the 180 ex cost and not actually just making a mockery of common sense.

It is only a matter of time and its exactly why he wants to milk it for every exalt before that time inevitably comes. Keep in mind he paid 120 exalts when they were 1:5 gcp or 600 gcp.

His asking price is now 1800 gcp adjusted for inflation and will only grow as exa:gcp ratios worsen.

1200 gcp profit is a good deal where hes standing.

edit: obviously its hard to make good analogy comparing real world items to game items but really tho if elvis was alive and bought that lambo and sold it, he would probably be able to get 600k. but really i doubt people are goign to pay 1800gcp worth for bow someone paid 600gcp worth beucase the great david583912537829758427548 from path of exile has used it.
