Harvest Crafting Amulet

Good morning,

I am trying to determine if I have encountered a bug with harvest crafting in the game. I had the following item:

Turquoise Amulet (ilvl 83)
(Fractured) Global Critical Strike Multiplier
T1 Life
(Essence) Adds # to # Cold Dmg to Attacks
# to Strength
(Crafted) Prefixes Cannot Be Changed

I used the Add a new Cold Modifier and remove another random modifier from a non-Influenced item craft. When I did so, the strength was removed from the amulet and my Essence crafted Cold Dmg to Attacks was changed from the Essence tier to T2.

My expectation here was that the only possible outcome was that since the Suffixes on the item were full, the result should have been +1 to Level of all Cold Skill gems with the removal of either the Strength or Prefixes Cannot be Changed crafted modifier.

I'm left kind of scared to continue crafting with this item as I don't understand what exactly happened and if this was an expected scenario.
