I can't see from your screenshot how much mana you have. Timeless Jewel with Ritual of Memory gives you "% increased maximum Mana", but you also lose +20 mana and +20 int (+10 mana) from Deep Wisdom, and another 3 +10 int nodes (another +15 mana), for a total loss of 45 flat mana.

" If you had no other sources of "% increased maximum Mana", that would be correct. But you're thinking of how modifiers that provide "more" instead of "increased" work. You already have a lot of sources of "% increased maximum Mana" from your passive tree. Ritual of Memory provides the same "% increased maximum Mana" stat, so it is additive with the other modifiers you already have. Just from your Ascendency, you have 30% increased from Divine Guidance, and 24% increased total across three small passives. In total, your character has over 400% increased maximum mana from passives on the tree, so the 23% increase will have a much smaller effect than the x1.23 you expected. The loss of 45 base Mana that seaman explained is also a big factor, because it means socketing the Timeless Jewel reduces your mana pool by more than (45 x 5) = 225 mana. Without Ritual of Memory, the Timeless Jewel would have reduced your maximum Mana to 5581. |
