Safehouse not dropping unique reward

I have run about 100 intervention safehouses this league, got no Paradoxica. Normally it used to take about 20 runs on average to get it. Is it possible that because some equipment drops get converted to gold, it also sometimes converts safehouse specific unique drops to gold?

Certainly seems like some boss drops get converted to gold. Like I had Baran drop 0 influenced items today, just gold. Is it intendeed that these "special" drops get converted to gold? At least items like Paradoxica should not be converted.
