Modify Tukohama, War's Herald's To Make It More Useful For Strikes.

Level 30 Ancestral Call is a marginal gain in damage for strike skills (10% more damage), and it loses the ability to quality to 20% (which is kind of a big deal because the range is very important). In all it makes strike builds more suitable for Jugg or Zerker on the Marauder class.

Since Chieftain thematically calls upon the strength of their ancestors, I think it would be simultaneously beneficial from a lore perspective and a game-mechanic perspective to provide some damage buff based on the number of "ancestors" when X ancestors is > N monsters.

So if I had 4 ancestors (ancestral cry + this ascendancy node) we can apply a total of 5 strikes against a single monster. Therefore, I would gain [4*(buff)+strike] applied to that single monster. If there were two monsters then the gain could be applied as (2*buff + strike) on the monster the character hits and (2*buff) on the monster the character doesn't hit. This logic can be applied always prioritizing the character's target until ancestral call functions as it does currently.

One suggestion is simply just applying a fraction of each hit that would have occurred for X ancestors when X=N monsters. Using the simpler one monster example we get 0.X*(hit damage) + (hit damage) which comes out to a X0% more multiplier for single target and decays to 00% as the number of monsters approaches and eventually exceeds X. So we get a benefit for bossing and no additional or marginal benefits for mapping. This would work especially well for "hits and ailments" play-style that can be found all around the marauder starting area if we include X0% more ailment damage as well. A benefit like this is not necessarily game breaking since (e.g) it would lack the additional multipliers and speed that can be found in Zerker and potentially reward slower strike skills.

Another thematically appropriate approach would be to provide the number of ancestors as additional physical as extra fire following the same logic as above. This would again lean into the "hits and ailments" hybrid play-style that is currently very far behind the meta. This gives more appeal to Chieftain outside of RF.
