Admiral's Arrogance Snapshots Gem Level Bonus

It seems that Admiral's Arrogance snapshots gem level bonus until the melee gem is unsocketed and socketed again.

How to replicate:
1) setup a melee build (in my case LS). As it can be seen by the screens 1 & 2, my build without gloves has 4263 DPS (and gem level is 10);
2) wear Admiral's Arrogance. With gloves up, the DPS increase a bit because of the attack speed bonus, but the gem level is not updated (screen 3 & 4);
3) unsocket and socket the melee gem (LS in my case). The DPS and the gem level are updated (screen 5 & 6);
4) remove the gloves. The bonus to gem level persists (screen 7 & 8). As it can be seen, the DPS are higher than the ones in step 1.

I don't know if it is only a UI bug. Since I'm leveling it's kinda difficult to properly see if the DPS are actually higher after having "snapshotted" the Admiral's Arrogance bonus. For what it's worth, the gem level is kept at +3 even if the gloves are completely replaced, and not just removed.
