Physical Slam reflected damage
Hi I am not sure if it is a bug or if I dont understand something with slam and reflected damage... here's my issue
I have tried Uber Atziri and died as soon as I was hitting her, so I knew it was related to reflect damage. I am playing Ground Slam Berserker. I was using Brutality on my Slam (Only phys damage) physical mastery 60% reduced reflect physical damage taken Soul of Yugul (50%) Usually that works, but it did not. So I tried a map with only reflect physical mod on a map to make sure. It did not worked either. I have tried to add an elder ring with 49% reduced and it did not worked. I have tried to add a watcher eye with 41% reduced while affected by determination and it did not work. The only mod that seems to work is a warlord body armor with the 100% reduced Is it a bug or I am missing something obvious? Thanks Last bumped on Jul 31, 2024, 4:58:45 PM

" Physical damage is being reflected, but what's hurting you is Reflected Elemental Damage. You have "10% of Physical Damage from Hits taken as Fire Damage" on your chest armor. This damage shift occurs before any other defence measure, including "% reduced physical damage taken" modifiers. Since you only have 50% reduced reflected elemental damage taken (from Yugul pantheon), you are still taking a relatively small amount of reflected damage. |

It works on phys reflect maps, but not on Atziri.

" I guess we should apologize for not looking past the first factor that would be an issue as well. Atziri also reflects curses that you inflict. You have Battlemage's Cry linked with Autoexertion, and to Vulnerability--a curse that causes the target to take 30% increased physical damage. This adds with your reduced damage taken stats, so you end up with: -50% (yugul) -60% (mastery) +30% (curse) and end up taking 20% of reflected physical damage. Even with upgraded Yugul pantheon's 30% reduced effect of curses on you, you'd still be taking 11% of reflected damage. You would still need more reduced effect of curses or reduced reflected physical damage taken to not take reflected damage. ....but I'm still not going to great lengths checking if you have things like increased effect of curses, so don't just take my quick calculation above as being exactly the amount extra needed. |
