The Amount of gold dropping in maps is insufficient to do the League Mechanique

ZiggyD just dropped a banger of a video that explains the mechanic very well and in detail. He even outlines strategies for people with less time on their hands: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=8RA84_LdoXU

This. Gold pressure is a real thing now. I already have 3 friends that stopped playing the League because they don't eant to feel pressures like in a mobile game.

Marc said this will be prevented within the system, but it is not.
Whenever you want to log off you need to make sure you have enough Gold to be able to go to sleep and to work the next day.

So you are "pressured" (if you want to be efficient, what the game is all about) to play (maybe longer) than you had planned because you need to fill the Treasure.

Gold drops need to be buffed by rougly 50-70% so people with a job can go to sleep/work without any pressure.

Yep. System is terrible, and the less you can play the worse it is. Sleep. Real job. Family. Real life chores. Real life activities. If I can play for 2 hours at night before bed, in this 2 hours I have to acquire enough gold to sustain the town while playing and the subsequent 22 hours I'm not playing, which simply isn't going to happen.

What this means is, I'm at a significant disadvantage to anyone that plays more. And with this league it's even worse. I log out, my town is down. When I log back in I don't have any new items/currency to ogle over. Streamers on the other hand, or anyone else that plays/earns on at streamer's level, when they log out, their towns keep on working and earning all the while they are offline. And when they log back in they have more wealth than when they logged out.

I should have played SSF. I certainly can't compete in trade league.
Y'all know we're under one week into a 3 month league, right?

If you self-describe as a casual gamer, maybe it's fine that you aren't going to be done with maxing out the entire league mechanic anytime soon.

Competing with who? why do you care just play any way you want, the system is fine, the only problem is you want to get as much out of it as possible, wich is fine but in order to do that you need to grind and i am fine with that, you were never competing with anyone if you are not going to put the effort anyway, having a job puts you at an incredible disadvantage from the start (like i have one and i know i will never compete with the top spots in any league, that's the reality of working and playing non p2w games, you cant compete with people with time that are also most likely better than you)

People complaining about how they optimize their town are beyond bad, they get the most expensive workers, dont realize lower workers do the job just fine, they want a really fast town but they are not willing to play that much, slow down your town, you dont need to be the top and you wont be if you cant no life the game wich is fine, no lifing the game gives you nothing, enjoying the game is fine.
You just have two hours to play the game? Perfectly normal. Just lower your expectations a little bit maybe? This game needs to have the room for people that play all day, all week, it is their buisness model. It doesn't mean you have to do it aswell. What is so bad if your town runs out of gold for a while, while you are at work?...fomo par execellence

Very odd mindset to base your gameplay around.

Dude I get like 10k gold a map you don't have to put ungodly amounts of time into the system to get something out of it.

im sure you do, thing is i have wages at 3k with half populated town most positions downsized to 1 T3 or lower worker ... when i get to running T16 maps instead of T9-10 im currently stuck at - because damn maps just dont drop even with atlas map nodes active - ill get double the gold from maps while needing 3-4 times as much for wages at higher tiers ...

so its going to get even WORSE ...

as it is only hope for running T10 town will be to play 6-10 hours a day MANDATORY because even now im catching myself stuck in "id like to log off but cant because i dont have enough gold saved to keep just the farm and smelters running overnight ..."

thing is the mechanic was presented as exactly opposite - dont have time to play whole day, no problem the mechanic runs in real time even when you arent ingame ...

secondly there is ZERO reson to gate this behind requiring no-life second job ingame lifestyle because its not like excess gold can be directly turned into currency ... at most the nolifers would get more use of of the black market which should be the case but as is the mechanic is literal waste of effort for anyone not willing to treat it as the second job ...

That's just FOMO thinking because you think you need to optimize and have the town run all the time even while you are offline.

What for? Why care if the town runs out of money?

It's just FOMO.
