As it's intended, this node was only used by people who hate Deli in its regular form. The punishment for taking it is losing Deli Orbs and Simulacrum Splinters.

Why nerf it even more by changing it to make it so much harder?

If someone wants tough Deli encounters, it already exists in the game, by not taking this node, and getting Deli Orbs.
