Not able to finish Einhar's Menagerie quest. Can't capture beasts, no recipes available.

1st Quest was finished. I have access to Menagerie, but I am not able to catch any bests. Beasts are not marked on minimap, Einhar does not appear next to my character.
During the quest I was in a party, second player is able to capture beasts and have recipes available in the book. Are you still in a party? In a party, the instance owner is guaranteed to capture the beast, and the party members only have a chance to get it. You can use the scarab for Einar's guaranteed mission to capture the beasts.
(Also, this is just a tutorial quest and does not block you from anything) |

Keep playing and you will meet beasts, but starting from act 2. Why are you looking for beasts in act 1 with a character of lvl 40+?

I am not looking for beasts there, just going through locations.
Yesterday I have have spent the whole day in act 2 and act 3, with no luck. I will play few more days, and let know if anything changed. |

There is no point in going through low-level locations (unless there is a missed quest). Move on with the story. All acts are just a tutorial, the game will start on the maps after the acts.
