Blightreach effect isn't working with Blight gameplay
Hello :)
Big blight fan here, I always farm these first and I was happy to see new notables in the atlas tree. However, after trying the blight reach effect from "Fungal Horizons" notable, it just doesn't click with me. Blight is about stopping the zoom zoom, building towers and staying in place. Now with this effect, as soon as the blight is done, you can't loot anything and just rush around killing stuff to get blight maps, then you can come back and loot, which is frustrating and not very smooth. Having a timer isn't really working with how blight works, or a minute isn't enough. I get that this is very powerful in red maps but maybe you could lower the chance but extend to time period ? (or don't have one at all). thanks ! Last edited by ExServ#2164 on Jul 29, 2024, 2:50:20 AM Last bumped on Jul 30, 2024, 2:25:53 AM

Yea I am a bit confused about this notable.
I assume to prioritize the loot at blight and maybe that effects the chests? But yea zoom after and you only got a minute. The thing should honestly be like delve buffs and be permanent afterwards. Edit: Looks like the one from delve is also 60 seconds now instead of permanent. Mash the clean Last edited by Mashgesture#2912 on Jul 29, 2024, 4:18:33 AM

I was going to post this feedback so I'm glad I found your thread.
I agree that it doesn't fit with Blight, intuitively. The concept of it makes me feel compelled to leave everything I've just earned (including all of the new 'chests' made from the salvaged towers) and zoom away to kill the map boss and as many other things as I can. Even if it weren't specifically Blight, it's just poor design to make us leave our pile of loot and come pick it up later. There are other things that do this, yes, but they're few and far between and still feel designed to let us blast and run, such as covetous shrines or tempests. This one happens every time you do a blight encounter, and right when you're presented with plenty of things to click. Edit: Also, I think it's important to mention that it's still only a small chance, it seems, so even if you do zoom around, you'll drop a lot of maps that aren't blighted maps. It feels like the kind of gameplay that just makes me feel 'relieved' when I do find a blighted map, not satisfied. Last edited by ToBeSomebody#7557 on Jul 30, 2024, 2:36:58 AM
