IGNITE not applying

Hey guys, My character has the hunter helmet that gives me Igniting Conflux, but this is not working. I hit with any damage and nothing ignites, even when the effect is up. Tried with igniting chance as well, and nothing.

I have no elemental overload or whatever.

can someone help me to check if this is a bug? this completely destroyed my build/playing

So i unactivated my scorching ascendancy and the ignite worked with the conflux

Now what the heck? The scorch ascendancy blocks me from Igniting? If the ascendancy says that my ignite becomes a scorch, why isnt the conflux ignite becoming a scorch?

Is this a bug?

Trying to work this out but I don't understand the build, so information might be a bit sketchy and have more questions than answers.

Where does your fire damage come from? Or do you have a way of making cold damage ignite? I know you are using Avatar of the winds but it still requires fire damage to ignite? Your POB shows no ignite or scorch for frostbolt (unsure if this is your main skill, pob im looking at has it on a 3link, so maybe you have other supports usually) until I add some spell fire damage to the build, then it shows scorch or ignite, depending on if oath of summer is selected.

You said you could apply ignite without the ascendancy, so i'm assuming you do have a way of doing this, but how do you know? I don't think ignite has a status ailment effect icon?

If you are in fact able to ignite but not scorch, Is it possible that you are not doing enough fire damage to reach the ailment effect threshold when you are testing?

Its likely scorching but op is just missing the scorch icon below enemies. Or who knows maybe its actually bugged but we cant know for sure without screenshots.

I don't understand? He doesn't have a helmet selected in the POB I'm looking at. He has a crown of inward eye but not selected. Which helmet mod would cause this and how does he get ignite without any fire damage with this build? Do they have a helmet with conflux mod on it? I guess that would work.

Its no longer on his character. He had a hunter helmet with igniting conflux.

I see, thankyou. So either cant see the scorch icon or not enough damage to register scorch, is that possible OP?

Or do you think it's a bug with conflux and the new ascendancy?
