Unstoppable Hero does nothing and is the worst ascendancy in the game and needs a hotfix desperately
The new Unstoppable Hero ascendancy is now the only co-op ascendancy in the game that provides no benefit to the user. It's only effect is to make allies tankier, but it doesn't even do that right.
Here is what makes Unstoppable Hero function-less: - It provides no utilizable benefit to the user. - It provides no or reduced benefit to allies that already have fortify from other sources. - Fortify from melee sources exceeds the 15 granted from the previous Fortitude ascendancy so teammates that normally have fortify would only "benefit" if they swapped off their better fortify source while playing with you. - It's effect is not just bad with melee allies, but also minion allies as animate guardians using Kingmaker will also see massively diminished returns. - The champion already has multiple other ascendancies that provide party-wide benefits that benefit the user while not requiring 4 points of diminished effects. This ascendancy is in an unusable position, especially for a melee league, and a hot-fix IS warranted and can be easily implemented without changing the conceptual effect of how it works. Simply change the effect of Unstoppable Hero to "You and nearby allies take 15% Less damage from hits while you have fortify." This will make the ascendancy provide the same value as the prerequisite Fortitude to the user while also effecting allies without being diminished by other sources of fortify.
