Squire Pets in Town

I purchased the 90 dollar supporter pack for the squire pets but for some reason whenever I go to a town they talk like 5000 times more than they do in battle. Sometimes three times the same dialogue back to back and every 10 seconds they say something again. It is excessive, is there any way to tone down the dialogue in towns so its not repeating non stop? If I am in town for more than 2 minutes I have to unsummon them because they talk that much... Anyone else have this problem?
