Automation skill gem does not support Signal Prey when consumed by Hungry Loop

The Automation skill gem can trigger spells in hybrid support gems.
Hybrid support gems when consumed by Hungry Loop can be manually cast as expected. When both of these two characteristics are present the automaton skill gem does not function as expected, not detecting the skill is present. Tested with Predator Support's Signal Prey. Automation can only support Active skill gems. It cannot support anything else.
