"Always attack without moving" should be default option.
" I would like to see the statistics you're using to make this claim. Personally I've never not checked attack without moving immediately on nearly every skill since they put the option in. It is indeed my default mode and would love to not have to do this. But if someone disagrees then they could make it a settings option "default to always attack in place" so whatever someone prefers is always the default setting on a new character or skill. If you don't use this with many movement skills, pressing the button will occasionally walk you forward before going off getting you dead occasionally. If you don't use it on most melee then Monsters that moved under your cursor will namelock causing you to start pathfinding around instead of doing dmg. If you prefer shift thats cool, but hope you stretch your hands a lot to avoid RSI probably a good idea either way tbh. Pandering to players who don't want consequences for their mistakes is a perfect description of what went fundamentally wrong with D3 and 4. If they wanted mindless mobile game time waster gameplay they sure did make some perplexing choices and marketing statements for 6 fucking years. I have slept over the mentioned setting but its highly useful for my Multistrike melee builds.
Can someone provide quick guidance where i do set that "always attack without moving"? I cant find it in the options and i want to have it as default when possible. |
