Flask Charges Gained on Crit: Suggested Change
Problem: Currently, flask charge gain on crit technically has a cooldown of 0.1 seconds, technically allowing for 10 charges per second. However, due to server tick rate it is functionally limited to 0.132 (only ~7.5 per second).
Solution: All sources of flask charge gain on critical strike now grants 5 charges and has a cooldown of 0.5 seconds. Just an aside: An (I think) overlooked reason why pure evasion builds (and Wind Dancer) is so underutilised, even in SC, is the fact that there are so few accessible sources of flask charges for builds that don't want to get hit. All other methods of flask charge generation have large opportunity costs (eldritch passive impossible with Unique body armours, alchemist's mark takes curse slot, the traitor). It might not be a huge reason, but it definitely makes flasks more difficult than they would be as an armour user, which, IMO is very backwards. Last bumped on Jul 25, 2024, 7:21:50 AM
