Skitterbots not triggering mines

when i use lightning trap the skitterbots do not trigger it, despite the fact that lightning trap is supposed to be triggered when enemies walk over it - and the fact that the skitterbots walk directly over it. And the fact that skitterbots text literally says that THEY DETONATE MINES.

I do not know if this is an issue with other mine skills, but I would not be surprised.

I should note the skitterbots DO move towards any mines I place, the mines simply do not detect the skitterbots as an "enemy"

I have checked, this bug applies to every trap/mine in the game

been like this for a long time. not saying that's a good thing, but likely the text is just wrong and they never updated it.
