Why are Poisonous Concoction & Explosive Concoction not counted as ranged weapons?
would you not consider the flasks that you throw weapons? I think it would be interesting to let the new ascendancies function with the concoction skills as well, but everything ive seen online is that they do not work with tinctures.

Strictly looking at this from a thematic perspective, if I have a jar of something poisonous, rubbing more poison on the outside isn't nearly as effective as rubbing poison on a blade (or arrow tip) and embedding it in a person.
Though perhaps I just decided maces also shouldn't use tinctures... hmm. Last edited by askreet#4736 on Jul 24, 2024, 1:09:12 PM

Throwing a chair at someone doesn't make the chair a weapon.
If you want Tinctures to work, just ask for unarmed support, don't cook up nonsense. |

" from a thematic perspective i would think having a jar of liquid fire and then adding the alchemist/mad scientist tincture to make it more powerful then throwing it seems fucking awesome lol. but I can see it both ways |

projectiles do the damage themselves as they move, but in the case of the concoctions, just like with traps or mines, its not the throwing or moving of them at or through an enemy that does damage, its the resulting explosion and aoe stuff does it.
