Vender recipe for alchemy orbs

Vendor, or buy from vendor, 1 chaos orb and receive 1 alchemy orbs.

It is often when characters are getting into yellow/red maps and have some chaos orbs, but are low on alchemy orbs. Having alchemy orbs would often be more beneficial for atlas progression than chaos orbs, especially in a ssf league. There would be little effect on the trade economy, and would allow for better player autonomy.

Also it thematically makes sense vendoring a "reroll a rare" currency into a "make item into a rare item" currency.

You can already buy an alchemy orb for a regret from the right act vendors.

If you are ok with losing chaos you are probably ok with losing regrets.

I did it when i started in the early leagues for maybe 3 or 4 of them, until i realised what a waste of time it was, stash storage was a nightmare and i always had 2 to 3 times more alcs then needed when i hit white and yellow maps.
